Chainstitch Tee - Supima Cotton

Our tee is made from Supima cotton (known for its strength, softness, and color fastness) and features chainstitched double-fold hems for an elegant, minimalist finish that also increases drape and recovery.

The color of this tee comes from lac, an insect dye. Initially appearing as a warm plum purple, the color of the tee shifts to a dark wine when immersed in an iron solution.

Note that slight variations in color may occur among dye lots and are attendant to the natural dye process.

- machine wash cold with like colors on a gentle cycle / tumble dry low / iron low as needed

- do not bleach

- unevenness in dye uptake and gradations of hues are beautiful, distinctive, and intrinsic to the natural dye process

- naturally dyed clothing may transfer color before the first wash or two; until then, avoid contact with light colored objects and surfaces
