The (Found) Objects collection consists of clothing and accessories that we reinvent in studio with natural dyes, whether (i) crafted in house from our own deadstock fabrics, cutting scraps, and samples or (ii) found at flea markets, in thrift stores, and on stoops. The approach to these objects may be calculated, experimental, or haphazard. We let the state of each object direct us and utilize natural dyes that complement each object’s inherent qualities. Some items are found “like new” while others contain relics of their past lives (e.g., tears, rips, stains) that we repair and overdye as needed.
