GAP Oxford Fun Shirt

We found this GAP oxford fun shirt at a thrift store in NYC. We first dyed the shirt in cochineal to create the tie-dye swirl. Next, we cut off the sleeves and cuffs to create a short-sleeve shirt and reinforced the sleeve opening with cotton herringbone tape. The excess sleeve fabric was used to create a right waist-level pocket, and we added a flap to the left chest pocket from the sleeve cuff, utilizing the already made buttonhole.

The shirt is tagged as an x-small. Listed below are major measurements.

- machine wash cold with like colors on a gentle cycle / tumble dry low / iron low as needed / do not bleach

- unevenness in dye uptake and gradations of hues are beautiful, distinctive, and intrinsic to the natural dye process
