Cut from a Japanese cotton double cloth, this shirt is perfect for summer days given its airiness and excellent hand that retains a subtle structure. We constructed this shirt with a 3-ply collar that provides stiffness without relying on fusible interfacings that can cause unsightly bubbling and wrinkling as the fusible interfacing's glue deteriorates over time.

We created this dark, lichen green hue with yellow undertones by first dying the shirt in myrobalan, which yields buttery yellows. Next we prepared a weak iron solution and briefly immersed it to shift the color.

Note that slight variations in color may occur among dye lots and are attendant to the natural dye process.
