Brushed Terry Hoodie

This hoodie is cut from a mid- to heavy-weight brushed French terry and features a tunnel pocket that spans the front body, which sits between two on-seam openings for a clean finish.

We created this lichen green hue by first dying the hoodie in myrobalan that yields buttery yellows. Next we immersed it in a weak iron solution to shift the color

Note that slight variations in color may occur among dye lots and are attendant to the natural dye process.

- drawstring: 100% cotton spindle

- dyed with myrobalan (terminalia chebula)

- ferrous sulfate afterbath

- mordanted with oak gall tannin extract and aluminum acetate

- machine wash cold with like colors on a gentle cycle / tumble dry low / iron low as needed

- do not bleach

- unevenness in dye uptake and gradations of hues are beautiful, distinctive, and intrinsic to the natural dye process

- naturally dyed clothing may transfer color before the first wash or two; until then, avoid contact with light colored objects and surfaces
