Polo Ralph Lauren Seersucker Short

We put a gothic twist on these traditionally pastel-colored shorts. Myrobalan combines with iron to create a deep charcoal, through which a faint shadow of its striped, pastel past comes through.

Given the synthetic content of the sewing threads, the topstitching remained white and imparts contrast.

The shorts are labelled as size 30. Listed below are major measurements.

- ferrous acetate afterbath

- mordanted with oak gall tannin extract and aluminum acetate

- machine wash cold with like colors on a gentle cycle / tumble dry low / iron low as needed / do not bleach

- unevenness in dye uptake and gradations of hues are beautiful, distinctive, and intrinsic to the natural dye process
